Here are all the ingredients you’ll need to create the perfect rice bowl:
For the sauce:

- 1/2 tbsp. ginger

- Salt
- Black pepper
- Bell peppers
- White onions
- Tofu

Directions
Prepare rice that’s good enough for 3-4 bowls. While it’s cooking, you can start working on your Mongolian sauce:
STEP 1. Using 2 tsbp. of cold water, dissolve your cornstarch. Set this aside.
STEP 2. In a sauce pan, heat 2 teaspoons of sesame or peanut oil then add garlic and ginger to saute on medium heat.
STEP 3. After a few seconds, mix in the soy sauce, brown sugar, and red chili flakes. Eyeballing it, add water into the pan—around a cup. Boil for 2-3 minutes then remove from the stove.
STEP 4. Give your sauce a taste test and make some minor adjustments if needed.
STEP 5. Once your rice is done cooking, divide it into 3-4 bowls. Divide the sauce accordingly, too. Add in your veggies and spices, taste test, make some adjustments, and you’re done!
