Müller Rice Protein Now Available in the UK
Multinational dairy company Müller has just launched Müller Rice Protein, the brand’s high-protein lineup. The new Müller Rice Protein is the brand’s first new product development in over three years.
Available in two single-pot variants, namely chocolate and vanilla, Müller Rice Protein is low in fat and contains about 14g of protein. Each pot weighs around 180g. Müller stated that it aims to target “consumers who are looking for high-protein products that keep them fuller for longer.”
Michael Inpong, strategy and marketing director at Müller Yogurt and Desserts, said, “When we looked at the data behind the protein trend, it became clear that almost a third of high protein shoppers were looking for something which keeps them fuller for longer, but there are limited choices on the market.”
He also added, “By introducing a hunger filler option like Müller Rice Protein, there is clear potential for category growth. Shoppers are looking for a product which meets their needs, but they are also looking for well-known and trusted brands. So as the nation’s favorite dairy brand, we’re well placed to meet this opportunity.”
Müller has also confirmed that the launch of the Rice Protein line will be supported by marketing campaigns on social media channels. Recently, the brand also launched Müller Corner Creations which is a collaboration with reigning world 200m champion Dina Asher-Smith.
The Müller Rice Protein line can be purchased from Morrison stores beginning March 22.
